The Six Degrees of Sarah and Christian

When Sarah and Christian first met, they did not know that her mother, Jean, and Christian's father Donald, had actually gone to highschool together. It's a small world. These pictures are from 1963 in Parry Sound, Ontario. Christian's grandfather, David Knudsen, was even a highschool science teacher at the highschool!

Jean was the first person to make the connection, and when Sarah told her she was dating a young man with the last name Knudsen, an unusual name in Canada, she inquired whether his father was named Donald and had lived for a time in Parry Sound. Soon, both Donald and Jean were pulling out their highschool yearbooks to show them. It's a small world.
